A playful day in Asbury Park with my mom

This afternoon my mom and I decided to go down the shore to one of our areas most famous towns, Asbury Park! It is artsy, edgy, and cool. It is best known for it’s music venue, the Stone Pony, as well as its historic boardwalk, and up and coming restaurants. Guy Fieri is also opening a restaurant there soon (causing much controversy).

We started out our afternoon with a walk around town, we even came across the “Underground” music and art crawl. We are big art fans, so even just the graffiti around town was fun for us.

We continued our walk and stopped in a quintessential Asbury coffee shop, America’s cup. It was lovely and charming.

After our walk we saw the Harry and Snowman movie! I was so lovely. We cried so much, mostly tears of joy from watching the successes of the horse, and also so much pride as horse people. Harry and Snowman were incredible, and this is Definitely a movie worth seeing! We saw the feature at the very intimate Showroom theater.

We followed up our afternoon with a lovely dinner in Red Bank, NJ. What a great day!
