Shopping for necessities in Norway!

On my first full day in Oslo, Saturday, we had a lot of fun! We cooked breakfast at home, eggs, toast, and coffee, then headed out to town. Conveniently, we live right in the heart of the city so getting anywhere in the downtown area is only minutes away. We did some general shopping for basic household things that were needed, and then for groceries.

Rasmus is a fan of the Kiwi grocery store that is right around the corner from us, so we went there! We planned our meals for the week, then purchased the food ahead of time. One of my favorite things at the store was the bread slicing machine, in the USA bread at the grocery store comes pre-sliced, so I found this very entertaining!

We cooked a lovely dinner at home, and watched movies before bed. A great settling in day in Norway ❤
