Not sure what to have for dinner? How about a stuffed cheese burger, with a side of fries! It has veggies, protein, and is simply delicious 🙂
Cooking for two you will need:
400g ground beef, 3 potatoes, 1 avocado, paprika, salt & pepper, cheese, an onion, tomatoes, pesto, ketchup, mayonnaise, olive oil, and two hamburger buns.
Set your oven set to 180c, while it is heating, chop your cleaned potatoes into thin slices and soak in cool water. When the oven has heated, dry the potatoes and season with 2 tsp of paprika, a dash of salt & a dash of pepper, then toss in 2 tsp of olive oil. Put the fries in a pan, and cook for approximately 30 minutes or until crispy (or, like me, when your smoke alarm goes off!)
While your fries are in the oven, slice an onion and avocado and put them aside. Divide your meat into four equal parts. To create the burger place a slice of cheese between two portions of meat, and press together so that the cheese is nestled in the center. Cook the burgers on medium/high heat in a frying pan, and season with a dash of salt and pepper on both sides. Grill the onion slices in the same pan. When the burgers are fully cooked, place them on a toasted bun and top with your sliced avocado, onion, and a cherry tomato (or sliced tomato). On the top bun, put a teaspoon of pesto, mayo, and ketchup!
Enjoy this delicious and summery dinner! (A glass of white wine doesn’t hurt either!)
